Senior IT Solution Architect

Our client, a leading provider of enterprise IT and Cybersecurity Solutions in the Middle East, is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Solution Architect
, with mandatory Oil & Gas industry experience to play a pivotal role in designing Enterprise Cybersecurity & Network Security Solutions /
Security & Infrastructure Platforms
. Only Arabic speakers are considered for this role.

In this customer-facing and technically hands‑on position, you will work closely with sales teams during pre‑sales engagements and support delivery teams post‑sales to ensure solutions are implemented successfully, securely, and aligned with customer business outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving long‑term success through effective solution architecture, technical governance, and ongoing support.

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs, technology requirements, and pain points.
• Position solutions effectively, prepare technical proposals, and respond to RFPs.
• Lead solution demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities across IT and security portfolios.
• Articulate value propositions and align technology solutions with customer business outcomes.
• Architect end-to-end network and security solutions leveraging technologies such as:

• Palo Alto Networks (PAN) NGFW and SOAR
• Fortinet Security Fabric
• F5 BIG‑IP (LTM/ASM/APM)
• Cloudflare security & performance solutions
• Infoblox DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM)
• Splunk SIEM
• Microsoft ecosystem (Azure AD, Defender, M365 security stack)

• Develop high‑level and low‑level designs (HLD/LLD) for enterprise customers.
• Create secure, highly available network architectures for hybrid and multi‑cloud infrastructures.
• Lead deployment, configuration, and integration efforts for SD‑WAN, NGFWs, DDI systems, ADCs, and cloud‑based security services.
• Establish reference architectures, frameworks, and best practices.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, IEC 62443, GDPR, and PCI‑DSS.
• Provide technical oversight and governance during implementation to ensure adherence to architecture.
• Work closely with delivery and implementation teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet business and technical expectations to drive customer success.
• Conduct architecture reviews, health checks, and optimization assessments.
• Act as the customer’s advocate within the organization to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, vendors, and technology partners.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, reusable solution templates, and accelerators.
• Mentor junior architects and consultants, providing technical and strategic guidance.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Mandatory industry experience in Oil & Gas

• 10+ years of progressive IT solution design experience, with at least 3–5 years in an architecture or senior consulting role.
• Proven track record in both pre‑sales (solution positioning, proposals, PoCs) and post‑sales (delivery support, governance, optimization).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands‑on knowledge of cybersecurity, IT security, networking, and application security.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman).
• Strong understanding of compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, PCI‑DSS).
• Preferred certifications:
  Enterprise Architecture: TOGAF, SABSA
• Cloud: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect
• Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent
• Strong consulting and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
• Business acumen with a customer‑centric mindset.
