The Technical Project Managers/Coordinators will serve as dedicated, full-time resources responsible for managing specific technical work streams of the Enterprise Transformation project. This role ensures seamless collaboration with primary technology vendors and COTS platform providers, and efficient technical provisioning and deployment of the solution. It requires a robust technical background combined with strong project management skills to oversee the detailed execution of technical tasks, ensuring quality, adherence to architecture, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Workstream Management:
Lead and manage specific technical work streams of the ECM project, such as core infrastructure deployment, COTS platform installation and configuration, integration development, or data migration activities. - Technical Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed technical project plans, schedules, and resource assignments for assigned work streams. Drive execution, track progress against baselines, and ensure technical tasks are completed on time and within budget. - Vendor & Partner Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the primary technology vendor and COTS platform technical teams to coordinate activities, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment on technical designs and implementation approaches. - Technical Requirements & Design:
Work with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and designs. Ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices. - Environment Management:
Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of various project environments (development, testing, staging, production) for the COTS platform within the Client's data center, including the managed Kubernetes environment. - Technical Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify, assess, and manage technical risks and issues within assigned work streams. Develop and implement effective mitigation and resolution plans, escalating to the Program Manager as needed. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all technical deliverables meet defined quality standards, performance benchmarks, and security requirements. Participate in technical reviews and audits. - Configuration Management:
Manage technical configurations, version control, and documentation for all deployed components and custom developments. - Reporting & Communication:
Provide regular, detailed technical status updates to the Program Manager and relevant stakeholders. Prepare technical reports and presentations. - Compliance & Security:
Ensure strict adherence to technical standards, security policies (e.g., encryption, SSO, MFA, industry-specific compliance standards), and data governance guidelines throughout the technical implementation.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in technical project management or coordination roles for complex IT infrastructure and software implementation projects.
- Proven experience managing projects involving on-premise infrastructure deployment, COTS platform integration, and custom development.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with technical teams from multiple vendors and internal client IT departments.
- Experience in a public sector, law enforcement, or other highly regulated IT environment is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English and Arabic — reading, writing, and speaking — is mandatory for this role.
- Infrastructure & Platform Expertise:
Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including server hardware (e.g., Cisco UCS), networking (e.g., Cisco Nexus switches), storage solutions, and virtualized/containerized environments. - Container Orchestration:
Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization technologies is essential, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. - Security Technologies:
Familiarity with various security technologies – Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and network segmentation. - Cloud Integration:
Understanding of cloud services (e.g., Azure AI services) and their secure integration into on-premises and hybrid environments. - Technical Documentation:
Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides. - Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
