Head of Growth, IT/Tech
We are supporting a SaaS company building API-driven tools used across modern digital products.
This is an opportunity to own growth for a product built by developers, for developers. You will work directly with the CEO and CTO in a flat, execution-led environment with real autonomy and accountability. This is not a traditional marketing role. It is a hands‑on growth role inside the developer ecosystem.
About the role:
This role owns global growth across developer communities and technical audiences. You will start hands‑on as an individual contributor, shaping strategy, running experiments, shipping content and learning directly from developer behaviour. Over time, you will scale what proves repeatable and durable.
Key focus areas include:
- Building developer‑first growth engines rather than paid or performance‑led channels
- Establishing presence where developers discover, evaluate and adopt tools
- Shipping technical content across Git Hub, documentation, tutorials, templates, sample code and SEO
- Driving visibility across Reddit, Hacker News, Discord, Stack Overflow and niche communities
- Running product‑led growth experiments across onboarding, messaging and pricing
- Building community, integrations and partnerships that compound usage and demand
About you:
This role is explicitly for someone who lives in the developer ecosystem. You are not a classic demand‑gen or performance marketer. You understand how developers think, build and adopt tools.
You will likely have:
- Experience growing developer‑focused or API‑first products
- A strong product‑led and experimentation mindset
- Comfort with “vibe coding” and shipping fast
- Deep familiarity with Git Hub, Reddit, Discord and developer forums
- A community‑first, ecosystem‑driven approach to growth
- The ability to collaborate closely with highly technical founders and teams
A traditional marketing profile without real exposure to developer‑led products will not succeed in this role.
