Job Purpose

The Senior IT Infrastructure and Operations Lead is responsible for full ownership of the organization’s IT operations and infrastructure. This role covers end-user IT services, internal IT operations, vendor coordination, and complete responsibility for servers, cloud, network, security, backup, and disaster recovery.

The role ensures stability, availability, security, and scalability of IT services across all business units and locations. This is a senior, hands‑on role with clear accountability for infrastructure and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities
End-User Support and Internal IT Services

• Own end-user IT support across all business units and locations
• Ensure reliable delivery of internal IT services including devices, email, access, printers, and collaboration tools
• Act as escalation point for complex user and operational issues

Day-to-Day IT Operations and Local Site Support

• Manage daily IT operations across offices, warehouses, and sites
• Support local site IT needs including connectivity, hardware, and access
• Ensure IT operational readiness for business-critical activities

Vendor Coordination and Accountability

• Manage IT vendors, service providers, ISPs, and infrastructure partners
• Own vendor technical coordination and escalation
• Monitor SLAs, service quality, and delivery
• Support infrastructure-related procurement and renewals

Servers, Cloud, and Infrastructure Management

• Own and manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure
• Administer Windows and Linux servers
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Operate and support cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Plan infrastructure capacity, performance, and scalability

Network and Security Ownership

• Manage LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and switches
• Ensure secure access, patching, and system hardening
• Align infrastructure with security and audit requirements

Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity

• Own backup systems and recovery procedures
• Perform regular backup verification and restore testing
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and recovery objectives

Infrastructure Architecture and Standards

• Define and enforce infrastructure architecture standards
• Ensure consistency and stability across environments
• Support future infrastructure modernization and cloud readiness
• Identify, assess, and mitigate infrastructure risks
• Act as accountable owner for infrastructure availability and resilience

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 7 to 10 years of hands‑on IT infrastructure and operations experience
• Proven experience owning both IT operations and infrastructure
• Experience supporting multi‑site or multi‑business environments
• Windows and Linux server administration
• Virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Networking including firewalls, VPNs, and switching
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Strong understanding of IT security fundamentals
• Certifications - Infrastructure, networking, or cloud certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
