Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Dubai - Onsite

Experience: 5–8+ Years

• Implement platform building blocks, guardrails, and standardized environments.
• Create automated provisioning pipelines and release processes.
• Enable and execute backup/replication, identity and access models, logging/monitoring hooks.
• Produce platform runbooks and “golden path” templates for workloads.
• Support initial operations until handover to Cloud Ops.
• Monitor health, capacity, and cost signals; triage and resolve incidents.
• Patch, maintain, and continuously improve operational runbooks.
• Prepare and support DR exercises; manage service requests and changes through CAB.
• Maintain asset/CMDB accuracy and service reporting.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and secure automation practices
• Platform engineering and automation in enterprise environments
• Source control & release management
• Troubleshooting and operational support
• Clear documentation and runbook creation
• CI/CD for platform changes and environment hardening

• Dev Ops/automation
• ITIL v4
