Role Overview Summary Context:
Technology is evolving rapidly, and Client aims to deliver innovative solutions quickly, securely, and continuously to provide a simpler, faster, better banking experience.
CTOi Function: A global team operating across 45+ markets, responsible for the bank’s technical foundation—covering data centers, databases, middleware, cloud (internal/external), end-user devices, networks, and help desks. The goal is to ensure stable, safe, and secure operations for colleagues and customers.
Governance:
Maintain strong governance, controls, and reporting to manage the impact of technological changes.
Purpose of Role:
Deliver and track progress on multiple group-wide projects/programs to meet Client’s obligations for key Infrastructure Delivery capabilities.
- Adhere to Client Change Frameworks and instill strong project/program discipline.
- Full ownership of project/program lifecycle: definition, planning, execution, governance, financials, resource, and change management.
- Ensure smooth handover to Business-as-Usual for benefits realization.
- Collaborate with Transformation & Change Leads, Global CTOi team, and senior stakeholders for alignment with broader strategy.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across IT, Global Businesses, Finance, and align projects with group strategy and values.
- Manage and deliver IT infrastructure projects and services, providing board-level progress updates.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams globally and oversee full project lifecycle: planning, execution, governance, financials, resource, and change management.
- Provide financial analysis and ensure adherence to CLIENT’s financial processes and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and elevate budget risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Act as a role model for CTOi Transformation & Change colleagues, contributing to leadership development and resourcing strategies.
- Education:
University degree required. - Experience:
Extensive project/program management with strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. - Expertise in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to interact with senior executives and manage risks and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong financial and analytical skills; ability to contextualize financial data.
- Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure and services.
- Experience delivering large-scale change programs within Technology organizations.
- Ability to lead diverse, global teams and drive continuous improvement.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; capable of simplifying complex issues.
- High motivation and ability to manage multiple outputs simultaneously.
