The IT Operations Engineer is responsible for:

• Ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure and operational systems.
• Supporting the technology solutions that enable the effective operation of our Dubai office and vertiport network.

This role involves hands‑on technical tasks, project planning, and coordination with internal teams to deliver key IT initiatives. The position will act as the first point of contact for IT and operational issues (for both external and internal stakeholders), ensuring smooth and efficient incident management.

• Local/Regional office IT support and tech management using Microsoft 365 and Office tool.
• Handle initial triage of IT and operational issues, directing them to the appropriate teams (e.g., network, cloud, endpoint, enterprise IT).
• Provide support and maintenance for vertiport-specific technologies such as CCTV, digital signage, security and other access control equipment.
• Ensure continuous operation for our critical infrastructure.
• Use tools like Fresh service, Azure Dev Ops, and Pager Duty for incident management and monitoring.
• Ensure access controls are in place to maintain operational continuity and security.
• Liaising with local IT suppliers with appropriate team support from wider tech team.
• Receive training on the tools and processes and coordinate with IT operations and development teams to ensure smooth communication and incident resolution.

• Organise and maintain the server room, including cabling, asset inventory, and removal of non‑IT items. Ensure server room is tidy with updated in our asset inventory.
• Develop and deploy Power Shell scripts to automate operator machine logins and application launches.
• Ensure availability to address issues promptly using the monitoring and observability tools provides.

• Strong experience with IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 and Entra/Azure Management.
• Ability to setup technology equipment in offices and at remote sites (including vertiports).
• Good knowledge of network configuration, and server room management.
• Familiarity with Power Shell scripting, Power Apps and automation.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Good understanding of IT and operational support processes.
• Familiarity with incident management tools such as Fresh service, Azure Dev Ops, and Pager Duty.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
