Majid Al Futtaim Asset Management is transforming its retail operations with advanced Data & AI capabilities. The Data Architect leads the design of a scalable, secure, and business-aligned enterprise data architecture, setting standards for modeling, governance, and integration. Working with stakeholders and executives, the role enables advanced analytics, operational efficiency, and strategic, data-driven decision-making.

• Technology Strategy & Transformation:
  Develop and communicate enterprise-wide technology strategy, drive digital maturity, and champion adoption of AI, cloud, and automation across business and customer processes.
• Enterprise Architecture:
  Lead design and management of scalable, modular enterprise architecture covering data, applications, technology, and business processes, promoting agility and interoperability.
• Data Architecture & Modeling:
  Develop unified data architecture and modeling frameworks to support analytics and AI use cases, ensuring standardization, integration, and reuse of data assets.
• Data Governance & Compliance:
  Design and implement governance frameworks, privacy policies, and data stewardship practices to ensure compliance and high-quality data across the organization.
• Integration & Engineering:
  Oversee cloud-based data integration pipelines, modern infrastructure, and technologies for a high-performance unified data platform.
• Business Enablement & Analytics Delivery:
  Act as a strategic advisor to business teams, translating data needs into technical solutions and enabling AI/ML and automation initiatives with measurable impact.
• Operational Excellence & Security:
  Promote scalable, automated, and secure data architecture solutions that enhance reliability, efficiency, and resilience.
• Scope & Impact:
  Support analytics and Cognitive Campus initiatives across 29 malls and 7 hotels in 5 countries, delivering AED 1.3B in revenue and AED 976M in NOPAT, while guiding cross-functional teams and strategic decision-making.

• Qualifications &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; TOGAF/Zachman or cloud/data management certifications are advantageous, with 4+ years in direct solution development.
• Strategic & Leadership Expertise:
  Senior technology or enterprise architect with 10–12 years’ experience, skilled in leading large-scale technology and data transformation programs, influencing senior leadership, and aligning IT initiatives with business.
• Enterprise & Data Architecture:
  Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, data modeling, integration, governance, and quality management at scale.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and predictive analytics.
• Solution Development & Delivery:
  Experienced in Agile, Lean, SDLC methodologies, ITIL principles, and cross-functional solution development for applications, middleware, and data platforms.
• Leadership & Communication:
  Strong business acumen, proven ability to mentor high-performing teams, and excel in communicating complex technical concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
