HANA Champion – Production Planning and Quality Management Job Summary:
The SAP S/4
HANA Champion – Production Planning and Quality Management is responsible for leading, implementing, and optimizing the SAP S/4
HANA system modules related to Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). The role ensures the system’s effective integration across departments, supporting production efficiency, quality assurance, and data accuracy. Working closely with the Supply Chain, Production, and Quality teams, the incumbent drives process improvements, ensures best practices in ERP utilization, and supports the company’s digital transformation initiatives.
System Implementation and Process Optimization
- Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4
HANA PP and QM modules. - Identify system and process gaps and coordinate with IT and business users to define and execute enhancements.
- Ensure accurate master data maintenance for materials, BOMs, routings, and quality parameters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate planning and quality operations within SAP S/4
HANA.
Production Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain production plans and schedules using SAP S/4
HANA planning tools. - Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) and ensure production resources are optimized.
- Monitor and analyze production performance data to identify deviations and suggest corrective actions.
- Support alignment between sales forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
Quality Management
- Implement and manage Quality Management processes within SAP S/4
HANA to ensure compliance with company standards. - Set up inspection plans, results recording, and notifications in SAP to ensure traceability and quality control.
- Analyze quality trends and coordinate corrective and preventive actions to improve product consistency.
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with QMS documentation in SAP.
Reporting & Data Management
- Generate real-time reports and dashboards on production and quality performance using SAP analytics.
- Ensure system data integrity and provide accurate KPIs for management decision-making.
- Support management with ad-hoc reports and insights for continuous improvement.
User Training & Support
- Conduct SAP S/4
HANA user training sessions and prepare reference materials for end users. - Ensure adherence to ERP data entry standards and process discipline.
- Provide first-level support for PP and QM modules and coordinate complex issues with the IT team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience with SAP S/4
HANA
, specifically in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality systems.
- Experience in process mapping, system testing, and master data governance within SAP S/4
HANA. - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong commitment to process excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Experience in change management and digital transformation projects preferred.
