Position: Senior Specialist - Employee Happiness & Wellbeing

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation and development of internal communication channels with employees, provide opinions on developing channels and discovering modern communication methods, including internal advertising spaces and smart applications, and prepare the communication plan for human resources and development management with various organizational units and employee categories to identify areas for improvement and development, raising corrective proposals and recommendations based on the results
  • Analyze and evaluate the level of internal communication between inter-departmental organizational units at both vertical and horizontal levels, contribute to the preparation and proposal of developmental methods to enhance corporate communication and harmony between units, and prepare related reports
  • Contribute to the preparation and development of happiness, engagement, and wellbeing programs to achieve happiness and positivity targets at the organizational level
  • Analyze and study communication methods and methodologies between internal teams and contribute to the preparation of plans to strengthen the relationship between employees and their supervisors, ensuring effective communication and enhancing the level of transparency
  • Prepare and plan major internal recognition events and meetings within the organization targeting employees, such as the annual organization ceremony and leadership forum, at the senior leadership level
  • Study reward and incentive programs and contribute to the development of the instant rewards program (TAMAYYAZ Box) to enhance job satisfaction indicators, identify areas of improvements, and prepare the annual study on the fund’s budget and costs associated with its rewards, as well as the results of using rewards and incentive programs and measure their impact
  • Perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the line manager
  • Study and analyze employee grievances and complaints, refer them to the relevant committee, and receive and follow up on decisions and recommendations from the organization’s relevant partners, such as the Central Grievances Committee in the Dubai Government, in coordination with the legal affairs management and the legal specialist
  • Assist in managing and developing the general framework for Corporate Culture that supports the enhancement of quality of life and job wellbeing, and study and evaluate patterns of sub-cultures to reflect the values, goals, and strategic objectives of the RTA. This includes programs focused on enhancing diversity and inclusion
  • Contribute to the preparation of the specialized human resources and development strategy, as well as the quality-of-life strategy and the measurement of strategic and operational performance indicators
  • Contribute to the preparation and development of institutional excellence files, ensuring the application of best practices by analyzing capabilities and results, linking them to pioneering practices, and conducting benchmarking and competitive studies to observe the best practices in the field of the section’s specialization
  • Prepare policies related to employee happiness, diversity and inclusion, rewards, internal communication, and the processes and procedures associated with them
  • Contribute to the analysis of internal and external employee survey results, polls related to job happiness, harmony, and loyalty, and identify corrective actions, areas of improvements, and challenges
  • Ensure the application of best practices and quality standards related to happiness, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing, and prepare files for participation in regional and global wellbeing and happiness awards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management/Arts and Public Relations or equivalent, preferable Master’s degree - 8 years of working experience
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
