Job SummaryThe Recruitment & On-boarding Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities and ensuring a smooth, compliant, and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. The role supports workforce planning, timely hiring, employer branding, and effective integration of employees into the organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: manpower requisition, job postings, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management
- Coordinate with line managers to understand hiring needs and job requirements
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, agencies, and internal databases
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist suitable candidates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Prepare offer letters and manage offer acceptance and negotiations
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely hiring against approved manpower plans
On-boarding & Joining Formalities
- Coordinate pre-joining activities and candidate communication
- Collect, verify, and maintain joining documents and employee records
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction sessions, and orientation programs
- Liaise with internal departments (IT, Admin, Payroll, DMCC) to ensure onboarding readiness
- Support visa processing, medicals, Emirates , and labor documentation (as applicable)
- Ensure timely system onboarding (HRMS, attendance, email, access)
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee files and recruitment documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and internal procedures
- Support probation reviews and confirmation processes
- Generate recruitment and onboarding reports for management
Stakeholder & Candidate Experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding journey
- Promote a positive employer brand and professional candidate experience
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and external vendors when required
- Strong recruitment and interviewing skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Time management and ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously
- Knowledge of UAE labor law and visa processes in DMCC (is preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office and ZOHO HRMS / ATS systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of experience in recruitment and on-boarding
- Experience in UAE / GCC/MEA recruitment environment preferred
