- Responsible for maximizing revenue and profit associated with rooms and catering across the transient, contract, group, and catering segments.
- Act as the hotel’s first point of contact for revenue management support and lead weekly sales strategy meetings.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders at hotel level and recommend pricing, positioning, and inventory management for rooms and function space.
- Drive room projections and communicate at hotel level as appropriate.
- Utilize tools and resources to ensure recommendations are based on market conditions, comp set pricing, demand, booking pace, and other relevant supporting data.
- Monitor daily transient and group transactions for significant changes and optimize rates and restrictions in all channels through seasonal strategies.
- Provide revenue management functional expertise to designated hotels and leverage tools such as One Yield to maximize room revenue and profit.
- Ensure full adoption of the Revenue Management system and tools to drive revenue and profit opportunities.
- Communicate sales strategies and rate restrictions proactively and modify them in line with seasonal and market fluctuations.
- Align hotel strategies with brand philosophies and initiatives.
- Conduct analyses to maximize room revenue and profit, including long‑term pricing recommendations.
- Develop and implement strategies with the General Manager and Sales Strategy Team to maintain or increase the hotel’s RevPAR.
- Critique property performance weekly/monthly for Transient, Group & Catering segments.
- Analyze competitive performance through market share tools and make recommendations to the hotel.
- Prepare sales strategy meeting agenda, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
- Hold weekly Sales Strategy meetings with the General Manager and key property staff.
- Prepare, communicate, and critique weekly and monthly rooms projections.
- Execute inventory management tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure strategy recommendations are implemented and executed promptly.
- Load rates correctly and promptly across all distribution channels.
- Manage transient promotions and online travel agent strategies.
- Use demand forecasts and data to determine, implement, and control selling strategies.
- Check distribution channels for hotel positioning, placement, rate parity, and accuracy of information.
- Ensure compliance with company promotions and digital channels.
- Understand the relationship between revenue management, sales, reservations, and property management systems.
- Support activation of regional or brand promotions as required.
- Evaluate and execute special events and holiday strategies.
- Monitor and analyze STR market share performance.
- Serve as the liaison between property and regional corporate systems support when necessary.
- Develop and manage hotel‑level stakeholder relationships proactively.
- Develop and utilize productive interpersonal and communication skills.
- Associate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Hospitality, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in Revenue Management preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.
- Effective communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to execute strategies, manage priorities, and deliver accurate, timely results.
- Cohesive team player with the ability to build relationships across hotel leadership, owners, and corporate teams.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and leadership under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; experience with hotel systems and related tools preferred.
- Solid understanding of revenue management principles, inventory controls, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
- Basic knowledge of finance, economics, sales, and marketing concepts.
