Role Overview
The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, driving financial performance, and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations to ensure flawless execution of luxury service standards
- Lead and inspire department heads (FOH & BOH) to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain personalized guest engagement, especially VIP and high-profile clientele
- Monitor revenue, P&L, cost control, and profitability targets
- Ensure strict adherence to fine-dining service etiquette and brand standards
- Handle escalated guest concerns with discretion and professionalism
- Drive upselling strategies and revenue optimization
- Oversee staff performance, grooming, and presentation standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training programs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and municipality regulations
- Act as General Manager in their absence
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 5+ years of management experience in luxury dining, lifestyle venues, or five-star hospitality
- Strong understanding of high-end service culture and VIP guest handling
- Proven experience managing financial performance and operational KPIs
- Experience with in the UAE luxury hospitality market is an advantage
