The Restaurant Operations Manager supervises daily restaurant operations and room service services, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and financial performance. The manager leads, trains, and mentors staff, maintains compliance with all restaurant, bar, and room service policies, and collaborates with the broader food and beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage daily restaurant and room service operations, including staffing, service standards, and sanitation compliance.
- Develop and implement operational plans that meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives.
- Lead, influence, and coach the food and beverage team to build a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, local, state, and Federal liquor laws, and relevant regulations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and employ corrective actions to enhance service quality.
- Manage daily financial aspects including purchasing, invoice payment, and departmental budgeting.
- Provide open‑door leadership, foster employee retention, and promote recognition across the department.
- Act as the guest service role model, addressing guest problems, collecting feedback, and ensuring a positive dining experience from greeting to departure.
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of food and beverage experience,
* or* - 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of food and beverage experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and integrity in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
