Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and memorable guest experiences at all times.
- Actively engage with guests and members to ensure they remain at the heart of all operational decisions.
- Lead, coach, develop, and inspire team members to consistently deliver outstanding service standards.
- Support and empower the leadership team across operations, fitness, food and beverage, and events to ensure the right products and services are delivered at the right time, driving participation, member retention, and commercial performance.
- Manage all food and beverage operations, including staff rostering, menu development, purchasing, and training, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to develop and execute strategies that drive occupancy, membership growth, and event revenue.
- Maintain full financial accountability for the resort, including profit and loss management, budgeting, forecasting, income, expenditure, and debtor control, while contributing to the development of the annual business plan.
- Ensure the resort property and grounds are consistently maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
- Support and oversee new CAPEX developments as required.
- Manage the resort’s membership program, ensuring members receive exceptional value and benefits.
- Oversee recreational activities to provide guests with a diverse and engaging range of experiences.
- Work closely with TFG Hospitality Corporate Office and department heads to ensure smooth, efficient, and aligned operations.
- Lead pre-opening activities and project management to ensure the resort opens on time, within budget, and to brand standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the resort’s design and build meet operational, guest, and staff requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- A minimum of three years’ Middle East–based experience in a Resort Manager, Club Director, or Director of Operations role within a five-star or luxury hospitality environment.
