Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the Group & Leisure segment sales operations.
  • Design and execute annual sales plans and strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, risks and tactical strategies.
  • Analyze marketing, financial and demographic factors to capture business opportunities and mitigate competitive activity.
  • Equip the Clusters sales team with tools and initiatives that generate qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to focus on areas requiring additional support.
  • Prepare and update the annual Sales and Market Plan, quarterly updates and annual budgets.
  • Contribute to management meetings to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Organise comprehensive product and service information and deliver it through relevant sales channels.
  • Implement strategies to offset market, economic, and competitive changes.
  • Coordinate forecasting with the Revenue Department and compile reporting for the Sales Department.
  • Work with other hotel departments to create exceptional guest experiences and build comprehensive sales programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily sales calls to DMCs on behalf of Hotel Local Dubai, First Collection JVC and Holiday Inn, maintaining strong market visibility.
  • Convert group & leisure leads by engaging clients and tailoring proposals aligned with brand values.
  • Coordinate and host site inspections for prospective clients across all segments.
  • Entertain potential accounts, build rapport and create memorable experiences that support conversion.
  • Meet with in‑house guests to uncover future business potential and share insights with the corporate team.
  • Host FAM trips that showcase the hotel’s personality, spaces and neighbourhood ties.
  • Welcome groups and event organizers on‑site, cultivating relationships that drive repeat and future business.
Desired Skills & Expertise
  • Minimum 2 years experience with local DMCs, MICE agencies, travel agents and knowledge of international accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish, including block creation in Opera S&M, activity reporting and full knowledge of the Opera system.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate distinct aspects of services and products.
  • Capability to develop client‑focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
  • Understanding of positioning products against competitors.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
  • Prior Cluster role experience is a plus.
