What We’re Looking For
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A proven track record of 1-2 years in a luxury hotel environment in a supervisory or managerial Front Office role.
  • Previous experience in Forbes or LQA-rated properties is advantageous.
  • Next-level organisational and leadership skills, effectively leading and inspiring the team to new heights.
  • An energetic conversationalist, engaging guests in lively discussions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A professional appearance, always adhering to the grooming standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leveraging strong verbal and written skills.
  • A proactive nature and meticulous eye for detail.
  • Creative solutions and ownership of all duties and tasks assigned.
  • Skills in improving customer satisfaction and driving profitability.
  • Impeccable communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • A hands‑on attitude fueled by a ‘Can‑Do!’ spirit.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greets guests upon arrival with a warm welcome, ensuring a sensational experience.
  • Oversees the reception and registration process, setting the tone for exceptional service.
  • Manages and coordinates front‑house operations while elevating the team throughout all guest touchpoints.
  • Exudes a strong and approachable presence at the front desk.
  • Anticipates and proactively addresses guest needs, inquiries, complaints and requests with utmost professionalism.
  • Prioritises regular audits and inspections of front‑desk operations to validate quality standards.
  • Schedules the front office team efficiently to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special events.
  • Curates and maintains strict adherence to cash handling procedures for precise accuracy and security.
  • Collaborates with the Front Office Manager in all facets of human resource management, including recruitment, training and development.
  • Works closely with the Front Office Manager to establish and continuously update SOPs.
  • Conducts regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
  • Oversees the reservation process, room assignments and availability to optimise occupancy and revenue.
  • Joins forces with the concierge team, providing guests with personalised assistance and arranging local attractions.
  • Fosters open communication with other departments to streamline operations for next-level efficiency.
  • Establishes and nurtures robust relationships with VIP guests and repeat customers, acknowledging loyalty with personalised gestures.
  • Implements captivating guest recognition programmes and initiatives, enhancing loyalty and inspiring sensational reviews.
  • Monitors and responds thoughtfully to online guest reviews and ratings, gathering invaluable insights to elevate the brand’s reputation.
