About Us
The incumbent is responsible to efficiently and effectively support the Medical Provider network in the assigned zones and for special local, regional, and global assigned projects. This includes performing a wide variety of technical and administrative tasks for the MPM Department to ensure accurate and effective data maintenance, circulation, safekeeping and flow of vital information, procedures and contracts as defined by corporate MPM strategy.
The position reports to the Assistant Manager/ Manager of the assigned region. The MPM Senior Officer is also responsible for managing relationships with medical providers, ensuring compliance with company policies, and optimizing the quality of healthcare services.
- Assist the Manager in developing and maintaining a network of healthcare providers, including hospitals, physicians, and ancillary services, and negotiating Provider revenues.
- Conduct gap analysis of the Provider Network as assigned.
- Manage empanelment requests from Medical Providers, including receipt, registration, and up-to-date record maintenance.
- Respond to requests and follow up for completion of case files.
- Conclude medical contract preparation activities by coordinating verification and approvals by appropriate levels of authority.
- Prepare, coordinate and file contract documentation; manage contract documentation and mail room operations.
- Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date medical provider database and periodically monitor valid data, hierarchy, and links for the region; update web interactive portal services.
- Learn and adapt to the company’s technical environment and work on all applicable systems and projects across Allianz Partners entities.
- Assist in provider negotiations as assigned.
- Help establish and maintain positive relationships with medical network providers, addressing concerns and issues under the guidance of the Manager/Asst. Manager.
- Ensure that MPM contracts and documentation adhere to relevant internal and external regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Assist in monitoring network performance metrics such as cost, quality, and accessibility, and help implement improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams and work closely with network operations to provide necessary support.
- Coordinate with other departments, including Business Development, CRM, Operations and Finance, to support overall organizational goals.
- Prepare and present reports on network performance and activities to the Manager.
- Responsible for new service additions per standard pricing model within agreed TATs.
- Conduct medical provider training per requirement and maintain updated training material in coordination with the line Manager.
- Negotiate special schemes such as health check‑up packages, gate‑keeper arrangements, and manage SLAs.
- Prepare periodic network lists for defined local and regional channels.
- Record medical provider complaints, coordinate resolution or escalation as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on network performance, including provider utilization, cost trends, and quality metrics.
- Manage data governance and data management activities.
- Coordinate with payers and medical providers for bipartite and tripartite agreements and gate‑keeper addendums.
- Participate in specialized projects and assignments related to medical provider management, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare provider network management, contract negotiation, or a related field.
- Understanding of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Good interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Attention to detail in documentation and presentation.
- Ability to collate specific data using data systems and local tools.
- Ability to work with a wide diversity of individuals and within a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect through all correspondence.
