MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo support clinical licensed staff in providing patient care support within scope of regulator guidelines and aligned with quality and patient safety standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASProvide fundamental Patient Care under the guidance of licensed personnel
Maintenance and supervision of Central Sterile Supply items in the ward
Upholding and advocating for Patient Rights
Participation in intentional rounds
Provide general administrative services to the unit to ensure effective daily operations
REQUIRED EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or equivalent and a formal accredited 6-month Health care course OR Diploma in Nursing or equivalent from an institution accredited in home country
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEInpatient hospital setting as HCW
Health Service background with a basic understanding of health and social care in a clinical setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Interpersonal relationship skills
- Knowledge of the CSSD basic functions
- Manual handling and general ergonomic principles
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Functional numerical literacy
- Client service and related management principles
