We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant to join our esteemed medical hospital in Dubai, UAE. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions that affect the musculoskeletal and neurological systems.

You will work in a collaborative environment, partnering with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to develop individualized rehabilitation plans.

Diagnose and manage various musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment plans effectively.

Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation processes.

Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and interventions to enhance patient recovery.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Provide guidance and support to junior staff and trainees in the department.

Engage in community outreach programs to promote awareness of rehabilitation services.

Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Preferred Candidate

Medical degree with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from an accredited institution.

Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.

Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and treatment modalities.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Clinical Assessment: Proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical examinations and evaluations to accurately diagnose and determine the appropriate rehabilitation strategies for patients.
