We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Genetic Counselor to join our expanding Clinical Genetics team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance to patients and families navigating genetic conditions, hereditary risks, and personalized treatment options.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed family histories and risk assessments
- Provide counseling for inherited disorders, prenatal screening, and cancer genetics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and care planning
- Educate patients on genetic testing options, results, and implications
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ethical standards in genetic counseling
- Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent
- Certification or eligibility for certification by a recognized genetic counseling board (e.g., ABGC, HCPC)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
