JOB TITLE

Manager - Business Affairs | Emirati Talent | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE

ROLE SUMMARY

The role is responsible for managing government relations and regulatory engagement to support business operations. It focuses on building strong relationships with government entities, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring policy developments, and facilitating strategic collaboration between the organization and external stakeholders. The role also supports business initiatives, manages government‑related agreements, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure smooth communication.

ROLE PROFILE
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, regulators, and semi‑government entities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for government‑related matters impacting business operations.
  • Monitor and analyze government regulations, legislation, and policy changes affecting the organization.
  • Address and elevate regulatory, licensing, or operational issues with relevant authorities to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all government requirements, approvals, and reporting obligations.
  • Identify potential projects, partnerships, and initiatives that align with business objectives and national priorities.
  • Conduct market research, analytics, and benchmarking to support strategic decisions and government engagement.
  • Manage government‑related contracts, MOUs, and correspondence while coordinating with internal teams to support related initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Government Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent in formal Arabic (spoken and written) with strong English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and corporate environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and reporting abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective document management (digital and physical).
