Responsibilities- Serves as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Europe Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) and other contracts as assigned.
- Ensures the contractor(s) meet all contractually specified technical requirements to include all Statement of Work (SOW) requirements and Contract Deliverables Requirements List (CORL) deliverables.
- Serves as a liaison between DLA Troop Support Europe, Customers, and the contractors and works to ensure the contractor’s compliance with contractual support requirements.
- Advise the Contracting Officer (CO) on recurring issues or problems; formulate and recommend practical contractual changes to eliminate issues.
- Coordinate visits by government representatives with the Subsistence Prime Vendors (SPV), prepare and present on-site briefings, and lead tours for visiting U.S. and foreign military and civilian dignitaries.
- Develop written reports to summarize and defend findings and develop/present recommendations.

Experience:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Conduct quality assurance inspections, contract surveillance using quality control methods/techniques.
- Coordinate the warehousing and distribution/transportation of food products and other commodities as assigned.
- Establish Federal Government contracts in accordance with established regulations and policies relating to contract administration.
