This job is for our Asset Management company O&F Investments Managements FZCO (website: ).

Our accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations within the Group. The Accountant is responsible for tasks such as financial reporting, bookkeeping, budgeting, and tax preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of accounts and recording of financial transactions.
  • Record and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other expenses or revenues.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure proper fund management.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance and identifying tax-saving opportunities.
  • Manage rent payment processes by receiving payments from tenants, issuing receipts for each transaction, and promptly updating relevant records.
  • Process payments for invoices received and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of bounced cheques and handle necessary updates or follow-ups.
  • Keep comprehensive records of income and expenses, tracking both pay-ins and payouts for effective financial management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Holder of a Charter Accountant (CA)
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
