You will become a part of our Trade Finance team and report to the Group Treasury and Risk Management Senior Manager located in Denmark. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Trade Finance Senior Specialist in Dubai and the Treasury team in Denmark.

Your role involves proactive, detail-oriented support for Trade Finance, funding operations, and Treasury-related tasks, contributing to Monjasa's success.

Areas of focus
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and issue import letters of credit, standby letters of credit, and bank guarantees ensuring compliance with internal policies, international trade rules (UCP 600), and bank requirements
  • Provide support for export letters of credit, including document scrutiny and negotiation, discounting of trade instruments, and monitoring payment due dates to ensure timely settlement.
  • Provide timely responses to banks, clients, and internal departments regarding transaction status and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records and filing of Trade finance transactions.
  • Assist the Treasury team with collateral and reporting needs under finance facilities, internally and externally
  • Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge sharing with internal stakeholders
Your professional skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 - 4 years of work experience in trade finance operations
  • Experience in the banking, oil and shipping industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of UCP 600 and ISBP
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
