Caxton Associates, founded in 1983, is a global trading and investment firm with offices in London, New York, Monaco, Singapore, and Dubai. Caxton Associates' primary business is to manage client and proprietary capital through multiple global hedge fund disciplines, including discretionary macro, systematic macro, emerging markets macro, systematic trading, equity long‑short, and event‐driven strategies. Assets are managed via a broad mandate to trade in a variety of global markets and instruments with a focus on alpha generation for our clients.

The Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) Program is a comprehensive two‑year pathway started in 2012, designed to nurture premier investment talent. It offers immersive exposure and intensive training, refining participants' investment skills with the ultimate objective of enabling advancement to a senior Portfolio Manager position within Caxton. Over a quarter of our current portfolio managers have risen through this program.

We are seeking candidates with 3–10 years of experience in asset management, hedge funds, and/or market making. The ideal candidate should have expertise in, and ideally direct experience implementing, the proposed investment strategy and related markets. We appreciate entrepreneurial risk‑takers who want to build and grow their investment strategy. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders is crucial, as is a demonstrated capacity for continuous growth and evolution.
