As we continue to scale, we are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance to lead our finance function, drive growth strategy, and establish world‑class financial operations.

As Head of Finance
, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations for Sumwon Studios in the UAE and supporting our operations in the UK. You will play a key leadership role in shaping financial strategy, building scalable processes, and ensuring financial excellence across our fast‑paced, multi‑brand organisation.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to a commercially driven finance professional who thrives in a start‑up environment and is excited to be part of Sumwon’s growth journey.

• Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and management of the company across all brands and markets.
• Partner closely with the CEO/ COO and senior leadership to shape and execute the company’s growth and expansion strategy.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support key business decisions.
• Develop scalable financial systems and structures that support rapid growth and multi‑market operations.

• Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Deliver accurate and timely management reports and financial analysis.
• Track and report on key financial and performance metrics across brands, channels, and regions.
• Provide scenario modelling and financial insights to guide commercial and investment decisions.

• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities in the UAE and UK.
• Ensure all statutory filings, audits, and tax obligations are completed accurately and on time.
• Implement robust internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.

• Monitor and optimise cash flow across all operating entities.
• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and funding arrangements.
• Ensure efficient capital allocation to drive sustainable growth.

• Partner with e‑commerce, retail, and operations teams to optimise profitability and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate commercial performance across product categories, markets, and sales channels.
• Support pricing, sourcing, and inventory decisions with financial analysis and modelling.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance team across UAE and UK operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and professional development for finance team members.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in fashion, retail, or e‑commerce, ideally within a start‑up or high‑growth environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, financial planning, and reporting.
• Experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑currency operations.
• Commercially astute with a hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving organisation.
