This full‑time position is based in Dubai and reports to the Group Treasury and Risk Management Senior Manager in Denmark, collaborating with the Trade Finance Senior Specialist in Dubai and the Treasury team in Denmark.
Your role involves proactive, detail‑oriented support for Trade Finance, funding operations, and Treasury‑related tasks, contributing to Monjasa’s success.
Areas of Focus- Draft, review, negotiate, and issue import letters of credit, standby letters of credit, and bank guarantees in compliance with internal policies, UCP 600, and bank requirements.
- Provide support for export letters of credit, including document scrutiny and negotiation, discounting of trade instruments, and monitoring payment due dates for timely settlement.
- Provide timely responses to banks, clients, and internal departments regarding transaction status and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records and filing of Trade Finance transactions.
- Assist the Treasury team with collateral and reporting needs under finance facilities, internally and externally.
- Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Share knowledge with internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in trade finance operations.
- Experience in the banking, oil and shipping industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of UCP 600 and ISBP.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Ready to work flexible hours.
- Can work accurately under pressure.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Good communication and client‑service skills.
- Curious to learn more about work and business.
