Audit and Assurance Lead

This is a full-time role for an Audit and Assurance Lead. The role involves leading external audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant financial and auditing standards, and presenting clear and comprehensive audit reports. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, ensuring accuracy, and developing clear action plans for clients. Collaboration with internal teams and clients is essential to ensure audit objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.

• Proven expertise in External Auditing, including preparation and review of financial reports and ensuring compliance with auditing standards
• Strong skills in Risk Assessment, Regulatory Compliance, and Financial Analysis
• Proficiency in Problem-solving, Decision-making, and Leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex audit findings clearly
• Advanced understanding of Financial Accounting and Reporting Systems
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities
• Experience working with or auditing SMBs is advantageous
