Assistant Manager Accounts Payable | Emirati Talent

The Assistant Accounts Manager will oversee critical financial operations across multiple geographies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial controls. The role requires a seasoned accounting professional with strong technical expertise, effective stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Acting as a key escalation point, the Assistant Accounts Manager will collaborate closely with divisional leaders and external stakeholders to resolve financial and operational matters. The role will also serve as the primary finance liaison for the Government Relations team.

• Oversee petty cash counts and reconciliations, ensuring strict adherence to internal control frameworks.
• Manage and review bank reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Act as the primary finance liaison for the Government Relations team, providing guidance, support, and timely resolution of finance-related matters.
• Lead corporate credit card administration, including issuance, cancellations, limit amendments, and ongoing governance.
• Provide leadership and oversight to finance teams based in the UAE and Egypt, supporting performance, development, and engagement.
• Manage finance operations across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with group policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a key escalation point for complex financial and operational issues, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
• Partner with divisional stakeholders to identify, resolve, and mitigate risks impacting financial processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including banking institutions.
• Ensure all financial deliverables are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Maintain consistently high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail across all outputs.

• UAE National.
• Qualified accountant or at final examination stage (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in a similar finance leadership role.
• Proven capability in managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
• Experience overseeing finance operations across multiple countries.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to manage escalations and resolve complex financial and operational issues.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP and finance systems preferred, including SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Concur, and Oracle Fusion.
• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
