We are currently seeking an ambitious professional to join the Premier Direct Banking Team as a Relationship Manager to acquire, establish and grow Premier customer relationships and to fulfil their financial needs.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:
  • Have meaningful interactions (physical & virtual where a need is discussed) in line with the defined sales process – EDRAS.
  • Proactively support the customer to utilize the channel most appropriate to support their needs EDRAS Number of Digitally Engaged users active as a % of customer base.
  • Achieve the business objectives by meeting customer need.
  • Provide one-stop financial services, proactively promoting Premier services, and fulfilling holistic wealth management needs of Premier customers.
  • Delivery of a customer experience that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.
  • Minimize errors, operational losses and rework.
  • Ensure on‑going operation of business meets audit and risk standards.
  • Refer wealth business to the dedicated Premier Wealth Manager on reactive basis
  • Responsible for End to End wealth services:
    • E‑Tool completion
    • Change of SI (Live Sign)
    • Change of payment account for paying out the dividend, debiting and crediting cash for the online trade platform and receiving the funds from redemption
    • Changes to exiting wealth standing instruction for customer who have Perpetual or Regular saving plan for mutual funds only
      • Full SI Cancellation
      • Change of Debit Cash Account and/or Payment Date
      • Reduction of Subscription Amount in Investment Funds to reduce the SI amount for the same fund
    • Pershing Investment Account Closure
  • Work with other Premier Relationship Managers to ensure a consistent approach and application of the Global Premier proposition and provision of Wealth Management solutions to Premier customers.
  • Set an example to colleagues in terms of delivering sound, appropriate Wealth solutions and customer service excellence.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Proven experience of sales & service in retail banking.
  • Previous branch experience in HSBC or equivalent is desirable
  • Strong understanding of HSBC group across key business areas, including HSBC International Personal Banking Service and Offshore.
  • Knowledge of core products, account opening systems and Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Understanding of HSBC system, Hub CRMS, including cross‑business awareness is a plus.
  • Knowledge of appropriate Branch operational procedures.
  • Knowledge of operational procedures related to the sale of insurance and investment products at HSBC.
  • Money Laundering Awareness.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues as required locally.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Premier proposition and products, along with the ability to communicate these effectively to customers.
  • Strong selling and presentation skills regarding Wealth / Insurance & Investment solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing and relationship building over the phone
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up‑to‑date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
