Financial Controller

Our client – operating in the FMCG sector is looking for a Financial Controller.

The role will be located in Dakar – Senegal.

Execution of overall finance activities in Africa which includes managing control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company strategy, analysing figures and implementing recommendations for the most profitable outcomes. Overseeing accounts and accounting functions.

• Take overall control of the company’s accounting functions
• Ensure financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current and future business growth
• Manage company cash management policies and treasury functions

• Lead corporate budgeting processes, forecasting, and financial planning
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to support business strategy and decision-making
• Ensure regulatory compliance for statutory bodies, taxation, and corporate finance

• Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business
• Provide leadership to implement Finance and Accounting strategy to optimise financial performance
• Work with senior management teams to grow the business, including capital planning, debt, equity, disposals, and acquisitions
• Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders, including senior executives, auditors, bankers, and tax authorities

• Basic Salary: USD 5,000/- p.m.
