Dubai, UAE - Executive Leadership - Scaling Fintech
Join a high-growth fintech expanding across the GCC, now entering the UAE market with serious intent.
This is a full market ownership role. Strategy, revenue, partnerships, compliance, brand. You will build and lead the UAE business from the ground up.
The RoleAs Country Head, you will establish, scale, and lead operations in one of the region’s most competitive fintech markets.
You will work closely with the Group CEO while owning execution locally. This is a commercial leadership role with full P&L responsibility, regulatory oversight, and team building mandate.
The focus is digital lending, microfinance, and B2C financial services.
You will represent the business externally and build credibility across regulators, banks, partners, and investors.
What You’ll Be Doing- Leading UAE market entry and expansion strategy.
- Building partnerships with banks, fintechs, payment providers, regulators, retailers, and ecommerce players.
- Driving revenue growth, portfolio expansion, and distribution channel development.
- Identifying new segments, products, and go-to-market opportunities.
- Leading digital lending deployment and microfinance initiatives.
- Overseeing B2C credit models, lending performance, and lifecycle management.
- Building and leading the UAE team across commercial and operational functions.
- Ensuring regulatory alignment with UAE financial authorities.
- Establishing governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Owning country-level P&L, budgets, and financial targets.
- Acting as the face of the company in the UAE.
- 10–15+ years’ experience in fintech, digital lending, BNPL, or financial services.
- Proven track record of launching or scaling businesses in the UAE or wider GCC.
- Strong background in business development, partnerships, and marketing leadership.
- Experience working directly with regulators and financial authorities.
- Demonstrated success owning P&L and delivering revenue growth.
- Experience building high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong governance and stakeholder management capability.
- UAE market credibility and network.
