Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review VAT returns, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist in VAT registration, deregistration, and amendments
- Support VAT audits, FTA assessments, and regulatory reviews
- Analyze transactions to ensure correct VAT treatment and compliance
- Assist in responding to FTA queries, clarifications, and notices
- Maintain VAT documentation, workings, and client records
- Support VAT advisory assignments, including impact assessments and compliance reviews
- Track VAT law updates and support internal knowledge sharing
- Ensure timely filings and adherence to quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / CA) – preferred or in progress
- 1–3 years of experience in VAT / indirect tax services
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT law, executive regulations, and FTA procedures
