TEAM LEADER – FINANCE/ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARYThe Team Lead – Finance will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating finance operations across multiple business verticals. This role supports the Finance Manager by ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective team supervision, and strong internal financial controls across all group entities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee end-to-end finance operations for multiple group companies and business verticals.
- Supervise, review, and guide the work of finance executives to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts across all entities.
- Prepare and review MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and working capital.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls across finance operations.
- Allocate tasks and set priorities for finance executives.
- Review work outputs and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial Reporting – On‑time and accurate monthly financial closing and MIS reporting.
Area:
Compliance – Zero or minimal audit observations and VAT non‑compliance.
Area:
Cash Flow – Improved cash flow management and reduction in receivables ageing.
Area:
Team Management – Productivity, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines by finance team.
Area:
Process Improvement – Implementation of approved finance process and control improvements.
- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience within the UAE.
- Proven experience handling multi‑entity or group company finance operations.
- Proficient in handling and supervising a team of min 3 to 4 executives.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Sound knowledge of UAE VAT, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse business verticals.
- High proficiency in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.
Salary Range: AED 8,000 – AED 10,000 per month, plus company.
