Line of Service OverviewAt PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.
Business Unit OverviewIn Corporate Tax, you will focus on offering Corporate Tax advisory working with our Delivery Centre on compliance, dispute resolution and tax accounting services to clients. You will provide advice and guidance on tax planning, strategy, helping businesses optimise their tax positions and navigate complex tax regulations to ensure compliance.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to join our Corporate tax team in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai or Abu Dhabi office). This leadership role will drive complex advisory and compliance engagements under the UAE Corporate tax regime and related cross‑border tax matters. You will work with our Delivery Centre (i.r.o.compliance) and support Directors and Partners leading multi‑disciplinary teams, shape go‑to‑market strategies, deepen key client relationships, and develop our next generation of talent while ensuring the highest standards of technical quality, risk management and client service.
HowYou’ll Contribute
Key Responsibilities Client advisory and delivery
You will lead end‑to‑end delivery of sophisticated Corporate tax mandates, including Corporate tax advisory and compliance and reporting. Tax Accounting experience is an advantage.
Technical leadership and qualityYou will serve as a technical lead on UAE Corporate tax law and implementing decisions. You will provide authoritative technical reviews, develop internal knowledge assets, and contribute to thought leadership on market developments impacting clients across all sectors as well as government‑related entities.
Business development and market presenceYou will originate and convert opportunities by managing pipelines, crafting proposals, pricing engagements, and presenting to C‑suite and boards. You will cultivate long‑term relationships with key accounts, intermediaries, and free‑zone authorities, and represent the firm at industry events and seminars. You will collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions spanning legal, deals, consulting, and assurance.
People leadership and coachingYou will lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team, including Managers, Senior Associates and Associates, providing continuous feedback and structured career development. You will promote a culture of inclusion, high performance, and psychological safety, and allocate resources to balance client needs, team wellbeing, and commercial outcomes.
Risk management and operationsYou will uphold the firm’s risk and independence policies, manage engagement economics and working capital, implement robust project management disciplines, and ensure documentation, deliverables, and communications meet our quality standards. You will contribute to practice management initiatives, including methodology enhancements, digital enablement, and data‑driven delivery.
What You’ll Bring Required Experience and QualificationsYou will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership experience within a top‑tier professional services environment.
Education and credentials- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Recognised professional qualification (e.g., Attorney, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CTA, ADIT, or LLM in Tax) strongly preferred.
