Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and detail‑driven Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of FIX Dessert Chocolatier. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, driving financial planning, and providing insights that support business growth and decision‑making.

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), and daily financial operations.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and month‑end processes.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor monthly sales performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Lead the month‑end closing process, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Provide management with financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.

• Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Implement and oversee processes that ensure effective cost control across departments.

• Manage cash flow planning to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
• Review and optimize working capital requirements, including inventory management, collections, and payables.
• Support long‑term financial planning aligned with business growth and expansion.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and UAE labour and tax requirements.
• Prepare for and support external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Oversee payroll processing through WPS and ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and contribute to process improvements.

• Strong proficiency in financial systems and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, WPS) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and internal controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage).
• Proven experience in a finance or accounting leadership role.
• Strong background in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience managing payroll processes through WPS.
• Track record of leading month‑end closing processes and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with audit preparation, compliance, and financial regulations.
