Actuarial Analyst; offshore Position

We are looking for a talented Student Actuary with strong analytical skills and experience in P&C/Health Islamic Insurance to join our actuarial team. The role involves supporting actuarial activities across Data Analysis, Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting and Risk Management.

Hands‑on experience in SQL and R/Python will be a strong advantage and will place candidates at the top of the shortlist.

• Assist in regulatory reporting including reserving and IFRS 4 & IFRS 17 reporting
• Assist in portfolio analysis of Motor and Medical lines of business
• Assist in pricing activities as required
• Assist in analytical work of any other nature

• 1-3 years of experience in an actuarial function with at least 1 year in a non-life insurance/Takaful role
• Understand technical and financial concepts used in non-life Insurance/Takaful
• Working toward actuarial qualification (minimum 2 exams completed)
• Strong analytical, mathematical and statistical skills
• Broad knowledge of applicable UAE laws and regulations
• Proficiency in SQL and R/Python

• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx (ETL tool)
