Job Description

The Senior Accountant position is a pivotal role within our finance department, responsible for maintaining accuracy and integrity in all financial functions. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage reconciliations, and ensure compliance with the latest regulations and company policies. This role is best suited for individuals with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational abilities, the capability to lead a team or a project, and experience in handling audits.

Working collaboratively with other financial experts, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in driving forward the company’s financial initiatives, offering insights for strategic planning, and optimizing financial performance. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and reconcile accounts to maintain reliable financial records.
• Coordinate the annual auditing process, responding to external auditors' queries.
• Ensure all financial reporting is in line with company policies and regulations.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for better efficiency.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecast reports to aid in decision making.
• Manage tax preparation and filing activities to ensure compliance with laws.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve controls and efficiencies.
• Conduct variance analyses to understand deviations from financial forecasts.
• Maintain fixed asset records ensuring proper recording and depreciation.
• Support management in financial planning and analysis for strategic initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or financial role.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Quick Books, or Oracle.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities with team collaboration skills.
