Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (English/Arabic bilingual) to support the Middle East Controller in managing the financial reporting, compliance, and audit requirements of the UAE and Saudi Arabia entities. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting statutory and regulatory compliance, including VAT and Zakat obligations.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS 15, and experience operating within a professional services, media, PR consultancy, or similar corporate environment.

• Support the Regional Controller in managing the monthly close process for UAE and KSA entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, including practical application of IFRS 15
• Prepare and review VAT returns for UAE and Saudi Arabia entities
• Support Zakat calculations, filings, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia
• Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor queries
• Ensure statutory compliance requirements met across both jurisdictions
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Provide financial support across UAE and Saudi Arabia operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
