A prominent and fast-growing automotive group in the UAE is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Chief Financial Officer. The organization is a leader in the region’s automotive retail and distribution sector, offering a broad portfolio of passenger and commercial vehicles. This role is central to the company’s next phase of operational and financial transformation, with a particular focus on enabling auto loans accessibility and financial structuring.
RoleSummary
The Group CFO will be responsible for the overall financial strategy and execution across the organization. A key deliverable of this role is to ensure the company is listed with all major UAE banks for auto loan financing. The CFO will also lead efforts to structure bank partnerships, negotiate lending programs, and establish the company’s credibility in the automotive finance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy and Leadership- Develop and execute the group’s financial strategy aligned with business growth and profitability targets.
- Support the CEO and board with financial forecasting, investment planning, and risk management.
- Lead capital structuring initiatives and support the company’s expansion and digitalization agendas.
- Establish and formalise partnerships with all major UAE banks for retail and fleet auto loan facilities.
- Secure favourable loan terms and integrate financing programs into sales operations.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of bank registration, approval documentation, and ongoing compliance.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key banking partners and financial service providers.
- Negotiate credit lines, trade finance, and retail loan facilities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank and regulatory financial requirements.
- Lead all core finance functions: budgeting, forecasting, accounting, tax, audit, treasury, and financial reporting.
- Drive financial digitization through ERP implementation and automation of reporting systems.
- Establish robust internal controls and ensure audit readiness.
- Build and manage a high-caliber finance team to support rapid business scaling.
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and transparency.
- Minimum 15 years of financial leadership experience with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent capacity.
- Proven experience in the UAE automotive sector is mandatory.
- Track record of listing an automotive entity with UAE banks for retail loan financing.
- Deep network within the UAE banking sector, particularly in automotive lending.
- Experience in dealer group structures, multi-brand operations, and/or fleet leasing.
- Previous involvement in equity fundraising, M&A, or pre-IPO readiness.
- Familiarity with ERP and financial digital transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Recognized professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA.
- MBA in Finance is advantageous.
