MANAGING DIRECTOR – GLOBAL HEAD OF PRECIOUS METALS TRADING & TREASURY
Ahlatcı Metal Refinery FZCO is establishing a strategic Treasury & Precious Metals Trading Division in Dubai, focused on physical gold–backed arbitrage, hedging, structured trading strategies and FX operations, fully intregrated with refinery production,logistics and physical bullion flows.
We are seeking exceptional senior professionals to build and operate this high-performance treasury platform contributing directly to group profitability through controlled trading,disciplined risk management and optimized liquidity management.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Managing Director – Global Head of Precious Metals Trading & Treasury to design, build, and lead our refinery-backed treasury and trading platform in Dubai, covering precious metals trading,FX operations,arbitrage strategies,hedging structures,liquidity management and treasury governance.
This role carries full strategic and operational responsibility for physical gold–linked trading and FX activities with direct impact on group profitability,capital efficiency and financial risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Build and lead the global precious metals & FX treasury and trading platform
- Define and execute physical gold–backed arbitrage,hedging and FX strategies
- Manage global physical gold sales, FX flows and inventory optimization
- Oversee risk governance,exposure management and compliance frameworks accross metals and FX
- Drive P&L performance, liquidity efficiency and treasury growth strategy
- Coordinate closely with refinery operations, logistics, compliance, finance, and executive management
- Establish robust treasury policies,trading limits, and risk controls
- 20–25 years of senior experience in precious metals trading, bullion banking, FX trading,commodity trading, or treasury leadership
- Proven track record in leading institutional precious metals & FX trading or treasury desks
- Deep expertise in arbitrage, hedging, liquidity management, FX markets and risk governance
- Strong understanding of global bullion markets, FX dynamics and cross-border trading flows
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial and leadership capabilities
