Our finance team, based in the Dubai office, consists of skilled and professional colleagues of both accountants and controllers and is responsible for various tasks such as financial costing, budgeting, controlling, VAT filing, complying with regulations, and monthly reporting for Middle East and Africa entities aligned with Monjasa Group functions across the globe.

As our new Accountant, apart from having the local esteemed finance team, you will also have the opportunity to build a strong network and collaborate globally. You will report directly to the Finance Director, who is responsible for seamless financial operations across geographical locations in the Middle East and Africa.

Furthermore, on a daily basis, you will thrive in an ambitious and international environment, and it is thus crucial that you are used to working independently under high levels of responsibility.

• Compiling and analysing financial information to prepare entries to the book of accounts
• Performing processes and posting of all invoices, expense forms, and requests.
• Handling stock accounts and related tasks, priority for closing on a daily basis
• Preparing reconciliation of G/L accounts
• Maintaining balance sheet accounts
• Handling financial transactions and data
• Maintaining the accounting controls by following policies and procedures

• Relevant financial education or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience from the oil and shipping industry is an advantage
• Experience with NAV is an advantage
• An experienced user of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in both written and verbal English
