Senior Financial Accountant

Senior Financial Accountant Salary Range: 5,000 – 10,000 AED (based on experience)

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to manage the end-to-end financial operations of Alba Corp and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.

This role suits a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with at least 2 years of experience in a senior accounting position. Familiarity with UAE tax laws, reporting practices, and accounting systems is essential. The ideal candidate should be organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working across teams. Key Responsibilities

Core Functions

• Handle full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations and timely tax filings.

Collaboration & Communication

• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting alignment.
• Support leadership with timely financial insights and decision-making tools.
• Communicate financial policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.

Performance, Reporting & Compliance

• Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports and variance analyses.
• Assist in cost analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE-specific accounting requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting tools such as Tally, Quick Books, Zoho Books, Oracle, or SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical thinking.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
