At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax advisory, compliance, strategy and litigation. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimizetheir tax positions.
Business Unit OverviewIn transfer pricing at PwC, you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters. In this field, you will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities and connected persons, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and minimising the risk of disputes.
How You’ll ContributeAs a Manager, you’ll work as part of a diverse team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of transfer pricing engagements, including scoping, work planning, execution, and quality review.
- Develop and review transfer pricing documentation (e.g., Local File/Master File support), benchmarking studies, and economic analyses.
- Design and refresh transfer pricing policies and intercompany pricing models for goods, services, intangibles, and financing arrangements.
- Support transfer pricing controversy matters, including audit readiness, responses to authority queries, and defense file preparation.
- Coordinate with PwC network teams to deliver consistent cross-border transfer pricing advice and project delivery.
- Apply data analytics and technology tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight in transfer pricing analyses.
- Manage and coach junior team members, providing on-the-job guidance, feedback, and formal performance input.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, communicating clearly and proactively on issues, risks, and recommendations.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, presentations, and thought leadership to grow the transfer pricing portfolio.
