Odell Gold, a Dubai-based physical gold trading company, is hiring a senior, highly trustworthy gold trading & sourcing manager to build and manage our book in the Dubai/UAE gold market
. The role covers physical gold doré and bullion
, with deep interaction across refineries, traders and jewellery groups, and requires a strong grasp of deal economics, accounting principles, and UAE regulatory/tax obligations
.

• Source, structure and close physical gold doré / bullion deals in line with company policy.
• Develop and manage relationships with Dubai/UAE refineries, bullion houses, jewellery groups and serious traders
  .
• Leverage and expand your network in the Dubai gold souk, DMCC and the wider Indian business community
  .
• Build full deal structures
  : pricing, discounts, logistics, payment terms, risk allocation and margin analysis.
• Work with management to ensure each transaction is aligned with UAE VAT, customs, DNFBP/goAML and other regulatory requirements
  .
• Oversee shipments/deliveries to refineries and ensure strict KYC/AML compliance with UAE regulations.

• 7–10+ years proven experience in physical gold trading / sourcing (doré and/or bullion).
• Strong candidates with fewer years will be considered if they can demonstrate clear ability, credentials and verifiable results
  .
• Strong existing network in the Dubai/UAE gold ecosystem (refineries, traders, jewellery groups, family offices, etc.).
• Fluent in one or more major Indian languages (e.g. Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi).
• Strong English (spoken and written);
  Arabic is a strong plus but not required French is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and deal economics (cost breakdowns, margins, cash flows).
• Exposure to UAE tax and regulatory environment for gold/commodities (VAT, customs, KYC/AML, DNFBP/goAML) and ability to apply it in deal vetting.
• Demonstrated reputation for honesty, loyalty and long-term relationships – verifiable references required.
• Strong ability to work with contracts, documentation and compliance procedures.

• Senior role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
