Head of Finance

Time House is a lifestyle retail and distribution company dealing in high-value consumer products, with operations across multiple countries in the GCC and India. The business model involves inventory-led operations, a mix of retail and distribution, and the use of banking facilities to support working capital.

The Head of Finance will play a critical leadership role in ensuring strong liquidity, disciplined cash flow planning, and financial stability, while owning and coordinating finance operations across regions and working closely with the operations teams, which are responsible for sales planning and execution.

• Own and manage end-to-end cash flow planning, ensuring adequate liquidity to support business operations across regions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow projections, factoring in procurement plans, inventory buy cycles, retail sales (cash), and distribution sales (credit).
• Proactively identify potential cash gaps and recommend mitigation strategies, including prioritization, timing adjustments, and funding options.
• Oversee timely approval and release of vendor payments, balancing operational requirements and cash availability.
• Partner closely with procurement and operations teams across regions to align purchase commitments with financial planning and working capital discipline.

• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions across geographies, including credit facilities, repayments, renewals, and compliance.
• Plan and manage shareholder-related financial obligations, aligned with cash flow realities and business priorities.
• Lead group-level budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, coordinating inputs from multiple countries and operating entities.
• Own and coordinate finance operations across regions, ensuring consistent processes, reporting standards, timelines, and controls.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, statutory compliance, and audit readiness across all geographies.
• Manage and drive efficiency, accountability, and process standardization across markets.
• Mentor team members providing guidance, capability building and performance feedback.

• 10+ years of overall finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior Manager or Head of Finance role.
• Proven experience in an inventory-led business such as retail, distribution, trading, or consumer goods, preferably with multi-country operations.
• Strong expertise in cash flow management, working capital, and banking coordination.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
