Senior leadership role within the Real Estate Finance team with the purpose of originating and executing Real Estate Finance transactions for all clients of the Bank (principally IB&M, WBG, PCG) and to support the real‑estate transactions of the wider .
Role will have primary responsibility for originating and execution of all deals in our regional markets, principally UAE, GCC and Turkey, and to support development of key strategic clients’ inbound activities into those markets in addition to select strategically relevant local clients.

- Work closely with the Corporate, FI, SWF and PCG coverage teams and product teams of FAB.
- Act as a center of excellence for Real Estate financing in the Bank, ensuring an environment of origination and creative thinking.
- Ensure talent is optimized and developed, providing international experience for junior members.
- Provide senior leadership and strategic input to client and product development, and innovate ways for the MENAT team to become a market leader and disruptor.
- Collaborate with all departments of the Bank to activate deal opportunities and harmonize communication.
The role encompasses enhancing the bank's capabilities in real‑estate finance for all forms of RE finance structures, and identifying opportunities for equity origination and deal placement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting clients/sponsors. Originating, structuring and executing new deals along with the coverage & credit team.
- Reviewing the existing CRE loan book to identify opportunities for refinance and restructuring.
- Building a platform for growth to support new business initiatives across the FAB footprint.
- Working with other market leaders to enhance FAB’s international profile.
- Leading pricing discussions with clients.
- Handling internal reporting, MIS requirements and supporting thehman of strategic initiatives.
- Contributing to the GCF budget and identifying opportunities in GM, Agency & DCM businesses.
- Building assets and achieving budget via P&L on a shadow income and hard cash basis for underwriting, structuring & participation fees.
- Contributing to sub‑departmental budgeting and monitoring cost ratios.
- Maintaining strong internal relations and collaborating with Coverage partners (SWF, FS, FIG, Corporate(integer?)? Banking, New Client Acquisition).
- Developing service level targets and coordinating the section with other departments.
- Implementing departmental policies, systems and procedures to fulfill all procedural and legislative requirements.
- Supervising and providing input for timely sub‑departmental statements and reports, especially the Underwriting & Sales Report.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in managing and facilitating real‑estate loans business in a banking environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Real Estate sector and FAB’s products and business strategies.
- Deep understanding of international real‑estate debt markets and syndicated loan & debt capital market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of financing structures based on current and expected market conditions.
- Ability to multi‑task with strong credit, structuring, and LMA documentation skills.
- Strong negotiating skills and ability to exercise good judgment balancing client, investor and FAB needs.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to build and develop strategic relationships.
