Job Purpose
As part of the Emirates Compliance Monitoring Audit team, this job is primarily responsible for the planning, preparation and conduct of audits.
The job holder will also be responsible for the acceptance of corrective actions and the verification of compliance. The scope of audit includes all areas of Flight Operations support activities and related suppliers to cover compliance with relevant GCAA and IOSA regulations and standards. Other responsibilities include assisting in the production of various compliance monitoring business reports and providing the operational sections with assistance and advice on regulatory compliance matters.

- Assist in the audit of Flight Operations and training support activities in order to ensure that the functions are in conformity with UAE GCAA and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in the review of UAE GCAA regulations and IOSA ISARP standards to evaluate their impact on Emirates Flight Operations procedures and activities in order to maintain working standards.
- Assist with the development of the Flight Operations Compliance Audit Schedules. The job holder will work with the Manager Compliance Monitoring Flight Operations Support in the development and delivery of audit schedules to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and Emirates requirements.
- The job holder carries out these audits as a fully qualified Flight Operations Compliance Auditor, responsible for:
-Providing notification to the concerned areas being reviewed, and researching relevant reference documentation and airline specific regulations (UAE GCAA CARs, IOSA ISARPs, CAAPs, etc.) so as to ensure that the audit is carried out against the appropriate standards.
-Preparation of audit checklists based on the above and previous audit experiences from within the area.
- Conducting all audits in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Manual.
-Conducting IOSA ISARP audits and prepare information for the final conformance reports to the IOSA Audit Organisation (AO).
-Assist 3rd party auditors during their audit activities (such as IOSA AO, GCAA, etc). - Administration and maintenance of the Compliance IT Audit Management system. Responsible for data upload to the system and contribute towards timely system developments and improvements.
- Required to assist the Manager Compliance Monitoring Flight Operations in preparation and analysis of data and producing reports. The job holder will also require to undertake follow‑up on action points assigned to attendees.
-Must hold or have held a Flight Dispatcher License, or previous pilot flying experience required (SME role only)
- Experience in Airline Operations
- Have a demonstrated ability to assimilate technical, procedural, and regulatory requirements.
- Have proven analytical and problem solving skills and technical report writing ability.
- Have working knowledge of the concepts of CAR-OPS/ORA and IOSA ISARPS Quality.
- Knowledge of using Aviation Assurance Systems would be preferred.
- Experience in an auditing or training role would be an advantage.
- Excellent PC skills.
