Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance and collaboration? Taaleem is looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounting and Control to join our Central Office Finance team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding education across our schools.

Reporting into the Financial Accounting & Control Manager, supporting all aspects of management accounting, financial accounting and implementation, improvement of the ERP system (Group wide) and integration of new businesses. Will also play a key role with ongoing financial support to the schools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or accounting
• Previous experience working within UAE with reputable organization including Big
  4.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present financial data clearly and accurately to non-finance personnel
• Prioritization, time management and planning skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills including PowerPoint and Word
• Comfortable with being exposed to Senior Management
• Excellent collaborative skills and ability to quickly establish effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Keen to learn and develop

• Financial accounting and reporting experience
• Business partnering skills, building relationships across the organisation
• Experience working in UAE is highly desirable
• Enjoy working with the wider business to develop a strong bridge between finance and non- finance areas and be able to demonstrate a natural ability to engage and motivate people to achieve the required result

• Sound Accounting knowledge (IFRS)
• Proven analytical ability.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Positive and hands on attitude
